  2. Byron was trying to think of way to get Joey to wear all that winter clothes without complaining, so he lies to her. If he wouldn't have told her that story, Joey would have kept crying and complaining to momma every time she had to get ready.

    1. So I think that it IS a good idea that he lied. Even though liying is not good overall.... He kind of helped his mom!

  4. why did byron start puking and crying over a bird HE killed?

    1. I think he felt guilty about killing the bird because that was not his original intent. He was probably planning to just pick on the bird like he does with the kids at school, but the situation turned on him. He couldn't handle what he had done so the only way he knew to resolve it was to throw up and walk away.

  5. why does kenny think the wool pooh is a man with no face trying to drown him?

    2. We talked about it in class so you probably know the answer now, but the "wool pooh" symbolizes death so it comes around whenever someone dies or is about to die.
