Questions for this post: (Pick one to answer)
1. Do you think the Wool Pooh (Man Kenny saw) was real? Why or why not? What do you think it might represent?
2. Do you think the church bombing was a helpful or hurtful conflict? Explain why you chose what you chose.
Q#2: OBVIOUSLY I think it as a hurtful conflict, but I also think it was helpful, because it was a hint to what was about to happen so it helped give people time to think things over and decide if they wanted to move or do whatever they needed to to keep their families safe! As for the hurtful conflict, it was hurtful by killing 4 young girls and injuring many others, and they destroyed a place where MANY, MANY people go EVERY Sunday!
ReplyDeleteI also think it gave people a remainder of how serious the situation was
DeleteIt was hurtful. It also affected Kenny very harshly, he had hid behind the couch so many days because of what happened in the Church
DeleteI think it was both because it was a definite hurtful conflict because people got hurt and died but it was also helpful because u knew how serious the situation was becoming and you would be more careful since that happened.
ReplyDeleteI agree because it was harmful and hurtful
DeleteIt was a hurtful conflict because it hurt a lot of people.

DeleteI agree, it WAS a hurtful conflict because it did hurt a lot of people and it wasn't right to do that to children in church.

Question #1: I believe that at the beginning when Kenny went into the water, the Wooh Pooh was the Whirl Pool and that Kenny's mind made it look like a "person". But when Kenny went into the church it was all in his mind. But in both times the Wooh Pooh represented Death.

ReplyDeleteQ#1:
Yes, because the Wool Pooh represented death, and at Collier's Landing and in the church there was death all around.
No, because the Wool Pooh represented death, but there is no such thing as the Wool Pooh.
